The first two are taken from Josh's webpage. Thanks for letting me use them. These are things I have been thinking about for a long time and instead of expressing them to people, you can read them and take it for what you will. Some are good and some are bad, but in the end, a point is made. These are my random tangents.........
1.Fakeness
If there isn't anything i hate more on god's green earth, it's fake people. i hate when people feel one way about a certain person, and they have no qualms about dictating their feelings to everyone... except that person they have a problem with. i can't stand that! if someone hates me, i'd rather know, straight up. if someone has a problem with me, tell me. don't spare my feelings, because believe me, it hurts a lot more when it gets back to you through someone else.
2. Understanding People
why are there so many people that think they can do whatever they want to whoever they want, and feel that there will be no repercussions, and that everything else in their life will continue to move as smoothly as it had before? why do people think they can treat others like shit without explanation? sometimes i don't understand people, and why they do the things they do. it's quite bothersome, really, and it's on my mind a lot. i think it's worse when someone close to you does a complete 180 and is inverted into someone so different, you just stop and wonder when it happened. were there slight changes i overlooked? did i do something wrong? it's harder when you look to that person for a reason, and they offer none. though i would really like to understand these things when they happen, i can't help but think, if that person doesn't want to let me in on what's bothering them, if they refuse to let me in, is it even worth my time? life is short; too short to spend trying to figure out one person who just doesn't want to be figured out.
3. Old People
If you are over 60, you SHOULD NOT DRIVE.
Period.
4. Backstabbing
Just because I am not there to hear things, does not mean I dont know about them. Chances are I am right around you when you say them and I already know about them. Watch what you say, cause it's going ot get you in deep shit later on. What goes around comes around.
5. Stupid People
I hate STUPID people. I am not talking about naive people, I am talking about the airheads that ask the stupidest questions and do the dumbest things. (This could be hipocritical but....) That goes for ASSHOLES too. There's no excuse for being a complete asshole, if there is reasoning behind it, then it's perfectly fine, but if it's being asshole just cause you can, you deserve to go straight to Hell.
6. Dumb Questions
Whoever told people that there is no such thing as a dumb question is wrong. They must have asked dumb questions themselves, cause trust me, there are PLENTY of dumb questions.
7. Pet Peeves
a. hypocrits (i guess I fall in this one?)
b. standing with your mouth open staring at someone
c. pretending to like someone when you absolutely hate them (refer to fakeness above)
d. homework
e. putting change on a cashier's counter when they have to pick it up anyways (HAND IT OT THEM!!!!)
f. bad smells (I know, go figure!)
g. heavy metal music
h. pushing soethign on someone that obviously doesn't want it pushed on them
i. chewing you gum with your mouth open.
j. ignorant people
8. Driving In Cars
The following is annoying when driving in a car.
- when the person in front of you moves up three inches, why are we compelled to do the same?
- why do people stare at each other at a stop light?
- 4-way stop signs, no one remembers who got there first.
- left hand turns. no one likes them.
- homey g's who have to blare their music at the top volume (also having a radio added to the back of their car)
- traffic
- someone riding your ass and you are already going 80 in a 55 zone.
- going under the speed limit
9. Celebrities
Why is it that we think the world of celebrities? Not that it's a bad thing. But it's always a top of conversation. Did you know that Tom is divorcing Nicole? OMG, Britney and Justin broke up! Holy Shit.....she is pregnant! It;s funny becuase if it were any average person, people wouldnt make a big deal of it.
But then if they do something wrong, it's the end of the world. When Kurt Cobain shot himself, the whole world went into shock, but there are over 10,000 suicides in any given year. Whats up with that?
One the other side, think of the recognition they get. And think, they have the same president as we do. We never think of that. They vote for president and they pay taxes, yet they make WAY much more than we do and occupy the top 1% of the U.S.'s richest citizens. I dont get it and I guess I never will.
10. There is nothing wrong with a guy fascinated with a celebrity of the opposite sex. It doesn't mean that we are going to drop our girlfriend so we can date them, it's just something nice to look at other than your girlfriend that we cannot have. And what we cannot have is desireable. But dont think that your man doesnt want you just the same. Cause chances are, he loves you WAY more than he could ever love them.
